Run Media City 5k and 10k
The Run Media City event takes place on Thursday 24th September 2026. This race series returns to Salford, offering participants the chance to run through the modern developments of MediaCity UK. The course is designed as a loop, and participants can choose between two primary distances:
- 5k
- 10k
The route starts and finishes in the Lowry Plaza. Runners follow a 2.5km loop that incorporates several local landmarks. The path crosses over the Millennium Bridge and passes the Imperial War Museum. The course also takes participants past the ITV and BBC television studios located within the complex.
Event t-shirts featuring the official race logo are available for purchase during the registration process. These shirts serve as a memento of the achievement.
