About the race
The Run Media City 5k and 10k Powered By Bank Of America is scheduled for 24 September 2026 in MediaCity UK, Salford. The event starts and finishes in the Media City Piazza and uses a 2.5 km loop through the heart of Media City UK. The course crosses the Millennium Bridge, passes the Imperial War Museum, and runs alongside the ITV and BBC television studios, following a waterfront route. Each kilometre is marked with distance flags and marshals are positioned around the course to provide direction and support.
An event village offers food and drink options and free partner goodies at the finish. Included with entry are a unique themed medal, free official race photos, chip-timed results, and post race goodies. An event t-shirt is available at more than 30% off when purchased as part of the entry, supplied in partnership with RT Kit.
