Bury 10K
The Bury 10K is a town road race staged in partnership with Bury Council and first held in 2016. The course starts and finishes close to The Rock and is described as suitable for all abilities. Entrants must be 15 years or over on event day.
Race services include chip timing, a finisher’s goody bag and an exclusive medal, with an option to pre-order a finisher t shirt. Medal engraving is offered through iTAB as an additional memento. Results are published on the event website soon after the race.
An Event Village offers food and drink for purchase and hosts partner charities. Baggage storage is available; runners should use the tear off strip from their race number to label their bag and reclaim items after the race. Water stations supply 330 ml bottles and recycling bins are provided on course and at water points.
Support on course includes pacers carrying finish time flags, fixed first aid stations near water stations, a first aid unit and recovery area near the start and finish, and roaming first aiders in the Event Village. Allocated toilets are located around the stadium. Photography is provided by MarathonPhotos with images available to purchase online.
Travel options listed for the event include car, bus and rail or tram, and several car parks are noted close to the Event Village. An interactive road closure map is available for local traffic information. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
