RunThrough Relays Media City Powered by Bank Of America
The event is a team relay held on Thursday 24 September 2026 in MediaCity UK, Salford, organised by RunThrough and powered by Bank Of America. The relay uses a 2.5 km loop that starts and finishes in the Media City Piazza and passes landmarks such as the Millennium Bridge, the Imperial War Museum, and the ITV and BBC television studios.
Teams complete repeated laps with handovers between teammates. Each kilometre on the course is accurately marked with distance flags, and marshals are positioned around the route to guide and encourage competitors. Results are chip timed and official race photographs are provided.
Entry includes a unique themed medal and post-race goodies; the event village offers food and drink options and free partner giveaways at the finish. An event t-shirt is available at a discounted price of more than 30 percent when added as part of the entry, supplied in partnership with RT Kit.
