Run Media City Relay Festival
RunThrough Relays Media City is a team relay event on 24 September 2026 that starts and finishes in the Media City Piazza. The event uses a 2.5 km loop through MediaCity UK that passes the Millennium Bridge, the Imperial War Museum, and the ITV and BBC television studios.
Teams complete laps of the 2.5 km loop; published race options include:
- 5k team distance
- 10k team distance
Entry includes a unique themed medal, free official race photos, chip-timed results and post race goodies. Each kilometre on the course is marked with distance flags, and marshals are positioned to guide and encourage runners. The event village provides food and drink options and free partner goodies at the finish.
The organiser highlights sustainability as an area of focus and indicates measures are in place as part of event planning.
