About the race
The Chocolate Frosted Buns event on January 23, 2027 is a community road race held at Conrad Weiser High School in Robesonia, PA. The program includes a main 5K road race and a free 1/2 mile fun run for younger participants and families.
Distances
- 5K
- 1/2 mile fun run
The 5K starts in front of the Conrad Weiser Middle/High School complex, follows a long loop around the school parking lot, continues onto quiet community streets of Robesonia, and returns to finish by the start line. The course is described as fast and flat. The high school cafeteria with indoor restrooms will be open before and after the event to provide a warm space.
Finish-line photographs may be taken weather permitting; full-resolution images will be available to download free of charge after the race. Participants can choose a gender-specific tech race shirt, a unisex crew-neck sweatshirt, or opt out of receiving a shirt. Post-race refreshments will be provided, and the fun run awards ribbons to all finishers. The 5K awards overall male and female places as well as top three in age groups.
Proceeds from the event benefit the Conrad Weiser Food Pantry and the Western Berks Free Medical Clinic; past events have provided more than $60,000 to these organizations. Volunteers will guide participants, but roads will be open to traffic; bicycles, scooters, and roller blades are prohibited. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
