Dr. Jeffrey F. Zackon Memorial 5K "Turkey Burn" Run/Walk
The 15th annual Dr. Jeffrey F. Zackon Memorial 5K "Turkey Burn" is a community road event on November 28, 2026 at Oley Valley High School in Oley, PA. The program includes a 5K run/walk and a separate 1 mile fun run/walk.

The 5K course begins and ends at Oley Valley High School, 17 Jefferson Street, and proceeds through downtown Oley and the surrounding countryside. Early registration for the 5K is $20 if completed by October 15 to receive a T shirt; later entries are $25. Participants 18 and under have a $10 registration fee that includes a shirt. Fun Run fees are $15 for adults and $10 for those 18 and under; T shirts require registration by October 15 and are available afterward while supplies last.
Awards are given to overall male and female adult and youth champions and to the top three male and female finishers in the following age brackets: 14 and under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, and 80 plus. Finish line timing is provided by Pretzel City Sports and race results are posted online. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
