Flippin' Fun 5K Turkey Run : 14th Annual
The Flippin' Fun 5K Turkey Run takes place on Thanksgiving Day, November 26, 2026, at Jim Dietrich Park in Reading, PA. The course runs through the park, is described as fast and relatively flat, and will be chip timed by Pretzel City Sports. The venue offers ample parking for participants and family.
Registration is available in advance or on race day. Early registration receives a discounted fee if received before November 6, 2026, and early 5K registrants are guaranteed a race T-shirt. Remaining shirts will be distributed to registered 5K participants on a first come, first served basis while honoring size requests as available. Packet pick up and early check-in are offered in the days prior to the race at Berks Gymnastics Academy, with additional packet pickup available at the venue on race day.
Race services include chip timing, a bag check, and online registration. Results are handled by Pretzel City Sports and posted after the event. Awards include new trophies for overall male and female champions and 2nd and 3rd place, plus medals for the top three male and female finishers in multiple age brackets. Fun Run participants receive a goody bag.
The event may be postponed or canceled for inclement weather or other unsafe conditions; fees will not be refunded in such cases. The race committee may offer reduced or free entry to a future event at its discretion. Food donation bins will be available for Berks County Food Bank.
