Charlie McMullen Mile
The Charlie McMullen Mile is a one-mile track event held on June 5, 2026 at East Rochester High School, 200 Woodbine Ave, East Rochester, NY 14445. Races are organized as a series of one-mile heats grouped by age and target pace, from a kids "Sub-4" heat up through youth, high school girls and boys, mixed pace fields, masters elite categories, and open elite men and women. All listed heats cover the same distance of 1.01 miles.
Entry fees vary by category: the youngest heat is free, youth registration carries a modest fee, high school races have a lower fee than adult open fields, and many adult and elite heats list a $20 entry fee before the deadline. Day of race entries for adult races increase by $5 at the track. Electronic timing is provided by Leone Timing.
Awards and recognition include ribbons and popsicles for the youngest heat, medals for top three finishers in youth, high school, and age-group divisions beginning at 19-24, and certificates to all finishers. Cash prizes are offered for elite fields, with specified payouts for first through third places in elite and masters categories.
