Francis Parker School 23 Spring Fun Run
This neighborhood fun run takes place at Francis Parker School 23 on May 31, 2026. The course follows sidewalks along Milburn, Edgerton, Park, and Barrington and finishes in the School 23 parking lot. The event is organized for students in grades Pre K through 6.
Racing is organized by grade group with separate waves. Course formats by grade are: Pre K and Kindergarten run straight from the corner of Park and Edgerton to the finish line; 1st and 2nd grade complete one loop; 3rd and 4th grade complete two loops; 5th and 6th grade complete three loops. Exact start times for each wave are pending.
Registration opens April 6 and closes May 1. Registration is free; donations are accepted and proceeds benefit the Francis Parker School 23 Parent Teacher Association. All participants will receive a T shirt and will be offered beverages and snacks at the event. The event is described as promoting school engagement and a community gathering.
