RUN585 Race Series
RUN585 is a three-race summer series held at the Genesee Waterways Center, 149 Elmwood Ave, Rochester, NY 14611. The series consists of three mid-week races on June 3, 2026; July 8, 2026; and August 5, 2026, named The Big Run 5K, Summer in the City 8K, and Hot Summer Night 5K.

Registration can be completed either for the full three-race series or for individual events. Registration opens February 19, 2026 and closes April 12, 2026. The listed fee for the series is $89.00 and single-event registration is $32.00. There is no day-of registration.
Races follow the Genesee River Path and cross pedestrian bridges along the Genesee River. The finish area is at the Genesee Waterways Center, which serves as a local hub for kayaking, stand-up paddleboarding and canoeing. Post-race gatherings are planned and will include Texas-style barbecue; a Mammoth Baked Potato will be offered at at least one of the races.
