Cedarville Charge 5k & 10k
The event offers two distances around Cedarville State Forest in Brandywine, Maryland on March 22. Points earned there count toward the Year-Long 5k, 10k and Back of the Pack Series, and also toward the Winter Series.

- 10 km two laps of the 5 km course
The course follows a mix of trail and paved roads around the campgrounds and has no major hills. Water stations are placed approximately at mile 1.5 on the 5 km course and at miles 1.5, 3.1 and 4.6 on the 10 km course; Gatorade will be available at some stations. Restrooms are available onsite.
Runners receive a finisher’s medal, a technical Drifit event shirt, and chip timing. T shirts are guaranteed for registrations completed before March 11; additional shirts may be available after that date on a first come, first served basis. Live results will be posted on Athlinks with a QR code available at the event and final results with series points will be posted the Monday after the race.
Packet pickup is available at the event and race day registration is offered. Awards are given to the top three men and women overall and to top finishers in standard age groups; top three overall are not eligible for age group awards. A virtual race option is available for participants who cannot attend in person.
The event supports Friends of the Maryland State Parks, a nonprofit that funds park improvements, education, and community programs and has awarded grants statewide since 2021. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
