Cedarville Charge 5k & 10k
Bishop’s Events stages a chip timed 5k and 10k at Cedarville State Forest in Brandywine, Maryland. Points from this event count toward the Year-Long 5k, 10k and Back of the Pack Series, and also toward the Winter Series. A virtual run option is available for those who cannot attend in person.
The course uses a mix of trail and paved roads around the campgrounds with no major hills. The 10k is two laps of the 5k course. Water stations are provided along the route; the 10k has three stations and the 5k has one, with Gatorade available at some stations. Restrooms are onsite.
Runners receive a finisher’s medal, a technical (Drifit) event shirt, and official chip timing. T-shirt sizes are guaranteed for registrations before March 10; extra shirts will be available afterward on a first-come, first-served basis. Registration fees follow tiered pricing for each distance and increase on race morning.
Awards include top three men and women overall and age-group awards for standard age brackets; overall top-three finishers are not eligible for age-group prizes. Live results are posted on Athlinks and final results with series points are published the Monday after the event. Packet pickup and race day registration are available at the venue; organizers recommend arriving about one hour before the race to check in.
