2026 Cedarville Charge 5k & 10k : Overview
The event takes place on March 22, 2026, at Cedarville State Forest in Brandywine, Maryland. Distances offered:

Points from the races count toward the Year-Long 5k, 10k and Back of the Pack Series and the Winter Series. A virtual race option is available. There is a daily entry fee for Cedarville State Forest; participants are responsible for paying that fee.
Course, services and logistics
The route uses a mix of trail and paved roads around the campgrounds; the 10k is two laps of the 5k course. The event is chip timed. Runners receive a finisher’s medal and a technical (Dri-fit) event shirt; shirts are guaranteed for runners registered before March 11. Water stations are located at approximately mile 1.5 on the 5k, and at approximately miles 1.5, 3.1, and 4.6 on the 10k; some stations will offer Gatorade. Restrooms are onsite. Packet pickup and race day registration are available; participants are asked to arrive about one hour before their event to check in. Awards are given to the top three men and women overall and to first and second in listed age groups. Live results will be posted on Athlinks and via a QR code at the race.
