- 10K (6.2 Miles)
- 5K (3.1 Miles)
- 26.2 Miles (Combined series)
In addition to the standard distances, the event features a category for children in strollers, provided they are registered under their own names and accompanied by a registered adult. Virtual versions of the 5K, 10K, and 13.1 Mile races are also available for those unable to attend in person.
Registered participants in the 5K, 10K, and 13.1 Mile categories receive an event shirt and a finisher gift, which are guaranteed for those who sign up by September 21st. The event uses a staggered start format based on race distance. The course is scheduled to close for all participants at 11:00 AM.
The event supports the Town of Cary Parks and Recreation Scholarship Program, known as Play It Forward, which provides recreation opportunities for local residents. Participants who complete both the Cary Greenways Half-marathon and the Cary Greenways Tour can have their times combined for a 26.2 Mile finish time. Awards are provided for top finishers across various age groups and gender categories, as well as for setting new course records. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
