Event Overview
The Cary Greenways Half-Marathon is a multi-distance running event held in Cary, North Carolina. The race utilizes the trails throughout Fred G. Bond Metro Park and the White Oak Greenway. The event features both in-person and virtual participation options with registration fees varying by distance. This race is capped and includes a staggered start format for all participants.

The in-person categories include a 13.1 Mile half-marathon, a 10K, and a 5K. Parents who are registered in any of these three primary distances may also register small children to be pushed in a stroller. Virtual versions of the 5K, 10K, and 13.1 Mile distances are also available for those who wish to complete the race remotely.
Participants who complete the half-marathon distance at this event and the Cary Greenways Tour can have their times combined for a 26.2 finish time and extra awards. In-person participants have until 11:00 AM to finish their chosen course. The turnaround point for the half-marathon distance closes at 9:30 AM. Registered runners receive a finishers medal and a participant gift. Awards are provided for the top three male and female finishers overall and in specific age groups.
