Cary Greenways Half-Marathon
The Cary Greenways Half-Marathon is organized by Fit & Able and takes place in Cary, North Carolina at Fred G. Bond Metro Park and the White Oak Greenway. The event offers both in person and virtual race options with multiple distances and a vendor exhibitor option.
Distances available include:
- 13.1 miles (half marathon)
- 10K
- 5K
In person races and virtual races each have separate registration options. Registration fees listed by the organizer include $70 for the 13.1 race, $50 for the 10K, $40 for the 5K, $35 for each virtual distance, $5 for the Kids in Strollers entry, and $100 to reserve an exhibitor booth. Exhibitor registration reserves vendor booth space only and does not include race entry.
Parents registered in the 5K, 10K, or 13.1 events may push small children in strollers on course; every participant must be registered and numbered, and children must be registered under their own name and birthdate. Finishers of the 5K, 10K, and 13.1 races receive a finishers medal and a gift, guaranteed for registrations completed by February 21.
The event records for the course at Fred G. Bond Metro Park and White Oak Greenway are listed by gender and distance. A new course record earns a $10 gift code. Over $8,500 in potential awards is available across overall, age group, and special categories. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
