Run Carlisle is scheduled for March 22, 2026. The event starts and finishes at Brunton Park Football Stadium, the home of Carlisle United, and is organised by IM EVENTS. The event includes the following race distances:

Event details
Prize money and trophies are awarded to the first three finishers in each event for both male and female categories, with additional veteran prizes. Entry fees listed for 2026 are: Half Marathon £35 (affiliated) and £37; 10K £29 (affiliated) and £31. Race entries include a medal, a T-shirt, and a goody bag.
Course accuracy documents and route maps are published for both the half marathon and the 10K. A number of local roads and nearby rural roads will be closed on the day; closures affect streets such as Warwick Road, Greystone Road, Brampton Old Road, Newmarket Road and sections of the A7 and surrounding lanes. The event supports several charities, including Eden Valley Hospice, People’s First Advocacy, Hospice At Home and Great North Air Ambulance.
