Event overview
Sport In Action’s 3 Village 5 & 10 Mile takes place on Sunday 12 April 2026 at Wetherall Village Hall, England. The schedule is set a week later than usual because Easter falls on 5 April 2026. The event offers two distances:

Course and race information
The course is officially measured and certified by the Association of UK Course Measurers. The route uses a mixture of quiet country roads that are described as gently undulating, with generally good road surfaces. The runs finish directly in front of the racecourse grandstand. Participants are asked to follow the race director’s instructions and take care at turns, being aware of cars and cyclists. A full course risk assessment, route maps, the race permit and the measurement certificate will be on display at the event HQ on race day.
Entries, registration and refunds
Online entries close 10 April 2026. On-the-day registration is available; all numbers and race chips are issued at registration and a race briefing is held before the event. Affiliated club runners receive a £2 discount on online entry. The withdrawal policy states that cancellations up to 12 March 2026 incur a 50% charge; after that date no refunds are given.
Prizes and results
Overall prizes are awarded to the first three male and female finishers. Age-group prizes depend on category size: 1 to 17 competitors - 1st only; 18 to 27 - 1st and 2nd; 28 or more - 1st to 3rd.
