Sport In Action 3 Village 5 & 10 Mile
Sport In Action 3 Village 5 & 10 Mile takes place on 12 April 2026 at Wetherall Village Hall in England. The event includes two measured road race distances:
- 10 Miles
- 5 Miles
Both courses are officially measured and certified by the Association of UK Course Measurers. The route starts close to the Wheatsheaf Inn, Wetheral, and finishes at Wetheral Community Hall. The roads used are quiet country roads and the courses are best described as undulating. Approximate elevation change is +233 / -244 ft over the 5 mile course and +448 / -460 ft over the 10 mile course. The event date is one week later than usual because Easter falls on 5 April 2026.
Race registration will issue race numbers and timing chips at the event. Marshals will be positioned on the route and competitors are asked to follow the race director and marshal instructions and to take care around traffic and cyclists. A full course risk assessment, route maps, the race permit and the measurement certificate will be on display at event headquarters in accordance with UKA rules. Parking is limited onsite with additional spaces in surrounding streets; participants are asked to avoid parking on the course. The event is sold out.
Entrant withdrawal policy states that withdrawals up to 12 March 2026 are subject to a 50% charge and no refunds are given after that date. Prizes are awarded to overall male and female first to third places and to age group finishers according to the stated scale. Live results are provided online.
