Sport In Action 3 Village 5 & 10 Mile
Sport In Action stages measured road races of 5 Miles and 10 Miles around Wetheral, England, with the route starting close to the Wheatsheaf Inn and finishing at Wetheral Community Hall. The course is officially measured and comes with a measurement certificate and event permit in accordance with UKA rules.
The roads used are quiet country roads with an undulating profile. Approximate elevation changes are +233/-244 ft over the 5 mile course and +448/-460 ft over the 10 mile course. A full course risk assessment, maps, the permit and the measurement certificate will be available at event headquarters on race day.
Prizes are awarded for overall male and female 1st to 3rd places and in age groups; age-group prize allocation depends on the number of competitors (1 to 17 competitors: 1st place only; 18 to 27: 1st and 2nd; 28 or more: 1st, 2nd and 3rd). If an age-group finisher also places overall, they will receive the overall prize.
Registration information includes closing dates and entry fees, with price bands shown for early and later entry and limited remaining places for each distance.
