The Carlisle Family YMCA Turkey Trot offers both a live event in Carlisle, Pennsylvania and a virtual option. The live event starts and finishes at the Carlisle Family YMCA, located at 311 South West Street, Carlisle, PA 17013. The virtual race runs from November 23 through November 27, 2025 and allows participants to choose their own course and upload results online.

Event details, registration and services
Live registration includes a shirt if registered before the guaranteed cutoff. Registration deadlines: register by October 31 to access the lowest prices and hoodie option; register by November 6 to guarantee a long-sleeve performance shirt. The virtual entry fee is $15 and does not include a race shirt. Transfers of registration to another person are not permitted. Race packets are available for pickup on November 25 and 26 and on race morning; packet pickup before race day is recommended.
Awards include age-group prizes (five-year groups with top two in each listed) and overall awards. Team awards (the Golden Forks) recognize the business/organization division and the family & friends division for the most registered participants. The race supports Project SHARE and hosts collections for gently used shoes and donated eyeglasses. Results are posted online and available at the event via QR code. The race is held rain or shine; in extreme weather it may be cancelled and entry fees treated as charitable donations to the Carlisle Family YMCA.
