Shippensburg Turkey Trot 5K
The Shippensburg Turkey Trot is a community running and walking event held at Shippensburg Memorial Park in Shippensburg, Pennsylvania. The event benefits the Cumberland Valley Rail Trail and Shippensburg Produce Outreach and is hosted by the Cumberland Valley Rails-to-Trails Council.

- 5K run, chip timed, road course
- Walk, timed, road course
The 5K includes chip timing and a standard awards structure: top three overall male and female, top masters male and female, and age-group awards for the listed age brackets (9 & under; 10-14; 15-19; 20-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60-69; 70 & over). Race t-shirts are available for an additional fee of $10; the last day to guarantee a t-shirt is October 31. Online registration closes on Wednesday, November 25, and total registration is limited to 1000 participants.
The Cumberland Valley Rails-to-Trails Council is an all-volunteer 501(c)(3) nonprofit focused on conservation, historic preservation, recreation, and alternative transportation through development of multi-use trails. Shippensburg Produce Outreach is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that distributes fresh produce and serves over 1500 families per month through drive-in distributions and partner networks.
