Cardiff MoRun at Bute Park
The event comprises a 1.5k Mini MoRun plus 5k, 10k, and Half Marathon distances held at Coopers Field in Bute Park, Cardiff CF10 3DX. The route is mainly on tarmac paths, described as flat, dog friendly, suitable for buggy running, and accessible for wheelchairs. The 5k is one lap, the 10k is two laps, and the Half Marathon begins with a 1.1k loop followed by four full laps.
Race entries use chip on bib timing and placings are recorded by gun time with net times also provided. Participants receive a MoRunning headband and a MoRunning medal. Drinks and sweets are available at the finish. There are prizes and recognition for categories such as fastest Mo, best dressed, and Mini Mo winners, plus prize draws and reward points for future events.
On event day registration is open at the event hub located on Coopers Field; runners should bring their race number confirmation on paper or a mobile device to collect race packs. Bag storage is provided near registration but space is limited and valuables are discouraged. Toilets are located in the event hub and marshals are positioned around the course. The organisers support Movember and related men’s health causes and offer fundraising options during registration and via profile pages.
