CARA Run For Their Lives! 2026
CARA Run For Their Lives! is a fundraising event for Carolina Animal Rescue and Adoption held at Kiwanis Park in Sanford, NC on August 22, 2026. The organization is a no-kill, non-profit animal shelter in operation since 2004; the event raises funds for the care and wellbeing of animals and supports shelter operations that receive no public funding.

- Kids' Fun Run 1/2 mile for ages 12 and under, medal for finishers; $20 with T-shirt, $10 no-shirt option
Awards include overall and age-group placings for the 5 km and 10 km, and overall challenge awards for male and female finishers. Leashed dogs and strollers are welcome on course. Registrations may include a T-shirt add-on for an additional $5; registrants who want a guaranteed T-shirt size should register by August 10, 2026.
