Event Overview
This is the third annual Miles 4 Moore Pinecone event. The event raises money for the Whispering Pines Veterans Memorial. It is described as a local fun run that aims to connect the community.

Course and Venue
The event starts and finishes at the Whispering Pines Police/Fire Department at 14 Hardee Lane. The course goes through the local neighborhood. Hardee Lane will be closed to traffic for the event. Event parking is located at Whispering Pines Park, 10 Hardee Lane.
Participant Perks
All runners receive a small finishers gift, courtesy of the Sandhills Running Club. Prizes are awarded to the top male and female finishers in both the 5K and 1-mile events. Finisher medals are given to the first 100 finishers. A race t-shirt is offered but cannot be guaranteed for registrations after a specific date.
Registration and Logistics
Packet pickup is scheduled for the Friday before the race at Whispering Pines Park. Same-day registration and packet pickup will also be available at the start line on race morning. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
