The event is a set of road/trail races held in Georgetown, Washington, DC, near 3530 Water St NW. Points from this event count toward the Year-Long 5k, 10k, Endurance, and Back of the Pack Series, and toward the Spring Series. The race benefits Warriors Ethos, an organization that supports service members, veterans, their spouses, and caregivers with career planning and placement.

Course and race format information: the races use the Chesapeake & Ohio Canal path. The half and 5k are described as out-and-back routes on a light gravel canal path with minimal elevation change; the 10k is an out-and-back course as well. Water stations are provided: seven along the half, three on the 10k, and one on the 5k, with Gatorade available at some stations.
Facilities and services: runners receive a finisher’s medal, a technical (Dri-fit) event shirt, and chip timing. A virtual race option is available. Walkers are welcome. Packet pickup is available at the event; entrants are advised to arrive well before their event start time for check-in. There is no on-site race day registration.
Results, awards and logistics: live results will be available online and via a QR code at the race; final results with series points are posted the Monday after the race. Awards include top three overall men and women and age-group awards; top three overall finishers are not eligible for age-group prizes.
