Cape Split Schoolhouse Run : Addison, ME
The Cape Split Schoolhouse in South Addison, Maine, is sponsoring two community running events on 09/19/2026 at 253 Cape Split Road. Proceeds will benefit Women for Healthy Rural Living in Milbridge; both the schoolhouse and the beneficiary organization are registered 501(c)(3) non-profits.

- 6.6 Miles route by Pleasant Bay, Eastern Harbor, Marsh Harbor, and Merritt Cove.
- 3.0 Miles fun run/walk by Pleasant Bay and Eastern Harbor.
Route and surface details: the 6.6-mile course includes about 5.6 miles on paved or groomed gravel road and about 1.0 mile on grass or single-track trails. The 3.0-mile course is mostly on paved or groomed gravel road with a short grass section. The course passes private properties with permission from local landowners. Dogs are welcome.
Registration and fees: registration opens 06/19/2026 and closes 09/18/2026. The fee for the 6.6-mile event is $30.00 and for the 3.0-mile fun run/walk is $20.00. An early start option is available for walkers and slower participants who expect to take more than two hours; participants should inform the race director if they require that option.
