Crush Cancer Lobster Crawl 5K : Jonesboro, Maine
The Crush Cancer Lobster Crawl is a community charity event held on July 11, 2026 at the Municipal Landing on Evergreen Point Road in Jonesboro, Maine. The event features an in-person 5K walk/run, a Kids Dash for children (untimed), and a virtual 5K option.

The 5K and Kids Dash use out-and-back routes on a dead-end road; the 5K route includes scenic views of the Chandler River. Children in the Kids Dash receive a medal, cotton shirt, and post-race snacks; that dash is an untimed event with no awards. In-person participants receive a bib, medal, and cotton shirt; registered participants who register before June 13 will receive a shirt. Virtual race packets are mailed after the live event and shipping is included in the virtual race fee. All race material must be picked up before the end of the event on July 11; unclaimed items will be donated.
Awards for the 5K include overall male and female placements for first through third and age-group awards for male and female divisions across standard age categories up to 90+. The event collects items for Sarah's House via a wishlist table at check-in, and proceeds after event expenses are donated to local beneficiary organizations including Sarah's House of Maine and the Christine B Foundation.
