Event overview
The Camellia Crossing 2025 takes place on November 26, 2025 in Town Square, River Ranch, Lafayette, LA. The event includes multiple distance options and children-specific events:

- 1 Mile Run/Walk
- 1 Mile Run/Walk - Children
Each registration is valid for both the 5k and the 1-mile event. The event supports Miles Perret Cancer Services.
Logistics and services
Participants are divided into six start waves for spacing; participants with strollers are placed in the last waves. Race bibs include a timing chip and a QR code for results. Three water stations are provided along the route (at 1 mile, 2 mile, and the finish area). Packet pickup is scheduled the day before and the morning of the event at the MPCS Office; team packets are packed together for team captains.
The Kids Zone is for ages 12 and under and requires a wristband ($5). Every registration includes gleaux gear, a Camellia Crossing t-shirt printed with gleaux ink, a food and drink wristband for the Afterglow Party, and race entry. The Afterglow Party is held in Town Square and features a live DJ and an awards presentation. Registration fees are non-refundable; if the event is canceled in extreme circumstances, fees will be retained as donations to Miles Perret Cancer Services. An optional $25 Extra Mile bib donation supports services such as wigs and nutritional supplements. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
