Broussard Community Fair 5K and 1 Mile Run
The Broussard Community Fair 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run takes place on November 21, 2026 at Arceneaux Park, 835 E Main Street, Broussard, LA 70518. This is the 22nd annual running event and it raises funds to support the local parish and community.
The course is described as flat, straight, and fast and passes through the middle of Downtown Broussard.

Pre-registration rates through November 7, 2026 include a Broussard Community Fair t-shirt on race day: $30 for the 5K and $25 for the 1 Mile; discounted pre-registration rates for SCS students and faculty are $25 for the 5K and $22 for the 1 Mile. T-shirt and size are guaranteed only for registrations completed by October 31, 2026. Registration prices increase on November 7 and late registrants are not guaranteed a shirt. Race day registration is available at higher fees of $35 for the 5K and $30 for the 1 Mile, with cash, check, and cashless payments accepted. Early packet pickup is scheduled for November 19 with the pickup location to be announced by email and via social media.
Awards are given for the 1 Mile top three finishers. For the 5K there is 1st place Overall Male and Female and 1st place in each age group: 0-9, 10-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
