Event Overview
The Dasher Dancer Prancer 5K is an annual running event held in Carencro, Louisiana. The event takes place at the Carencro Community Center and is organized in conjunction with Carencro Country Christmas. All profits generated from the race are donated to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Participants have the option to take part in the physical race on-site or participate via a virtual format.

Awards and Recognition
Medals are awarded to the overall male and female finishers. Additionally, awards are provided for first and second place finishers in various age categories, which include groups ranging from ages 1-14 up to 50 and older.
Participants who complete this race along with the Jungle Gardens and Zydeco Marathon events are eligible for the Miles for Hope medal. This series of races supports pediatric medical research and patient care. Registrations for the physical race include a shirt for those who sign up before the designated deadline.
