The DASHER DANCER PRANCER 5K is scheduled for Saturday, December 5, 2026, in Carencro, Louisiana. The event takes place at the Carencro Community Center, 5115 N. University Avenue, Carencro, LA 70520. The run is held in conjunction with Carencro Country Christmas and participants may join the Community Center's Christmas activities after the event. Parking is available at the Community Center or next door at the Carencro Library.

The listed entry fees are $35 for the 5K run and $40 for the 5K virtual. Registration opens June 22, 2026. On-site registration is available on race day for a $45 fee. Medals will be awarded to the overall male and female finishers and to 1st and 2nd place in each age category. Age groups are: 1-14; 15-19; 20-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50 and up. The race states that 100% of all profits will be donated to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. A course map is available as an attached PDF.
