CAK5K on the Runway
The CAK5K on the Runway takes place on Sunday, October 4, 2026, in Green, Ohio, with the start and finish at the MAPS Air Museum, 2260 International Pkwy. The main race distance is 5K. The course includes running on an airport runway and passes through the Ohio Air Guard facility. The event program includes an Afterburner Zone, a 100 m race segment inside the 5K located just after mile 2.2, and a Lil' Captains Dash. The event is part of the Green Great 8 Race Series and the Akron 200 Celebration. The MAPS Air Museum is the event beneficiary and will receive donations to support its programming and operations.
