Bunny Hop 5K & 1 Mile Family Fun Run
The Portsmouth Museums Foundation organizes this event. It is the 11th annual running, taking place on a Saturday in April in Portsmouth, Virginia. The event supports the Children's Museum of Virginia.
The event is centered at the Portsmouth Pavilion, located at 16 Crawford Circle. Participants can choose from several options:
- A 1 Mile Family Fun Run.
- A 5k Walk.
- A 5k Run.
- A 1 Mile Fun Run & 5k combination.
- A VIRTUAL Bunny Hop 5k or 1 Mile.
The course is described as flat, fast, and picturesque, following the Portsmouth waterfront. After the runs, there will be family activities, dancing, refreshments, and an award ceremony at the Portsmouth Pavilion.
Early packet pickup is available on the Friday before the race at the Children's Museum of Virginia. On race day, registration and packet pickup open at 7:00 a.m. at the Portsmouth Pavilion. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
