Bulldog Breakaway Twilight 5K
The Bulldog Breakaway Twilight 5K is a USATF certified 5K running series held on Thursday evenings in June 2026 at The Citadel in Charleston, South Carolina. Race nights are scheduled for June 4, 11, 18 and 25.
The course starts on the track at The Citadel, includes a lap around campus, passes through the Summerall Gate, follows one lap around Hampton Park, returns through the Summerall Gate, and finishes with another lap on the campus track. The route includes water stops distributed along the course and near the finish.
Parking and race logistics are centered at Willson Field at The Citadel. Packet pick up and day of race registration are available on the day of each race at Willson Field. Online registration opens January 8, 2026 and closes June 4, 2026; the standard registration fee is $65. Day of registration carries a separate fee of $50 without a T shirt.
Restroom facilities will be available near Willson Field. Results will be posted by the official timing provider Timing Inc when computations are complete. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
