Hot Pursuit 5K - Goose Creek
The City of Goose Creek Police Department hosts the 6th annual Hot Pursuit 5K on June 13 at the Goose Creek Municipal Complex. The event comprises a main 5K run walk and a separate half mile kids fun run that follows a path around the lake.
The course uses paved hiker and biker trails as well as roadways and returns to the municipal center. Early packet pickup is available on June 12 at the Goose Creek Police Department lobby, located at 519 North Goose Creek Boulevard, Goose Creek, SC 29445. Packet pickup and race day registration are offered at the same location on race day.

- 0.5 Mile Kids Fun Run
Awards are presented to the top three male and top three female finishers in each age group: 19 or younger, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+. The first 500 runners to finish the 5K will receive a finisher's medal. T shirts are guaranteed only for participants who register online, and selected shirt sizes cannot be exchanged after ordering.
