Bulldog Breakaway 2026 Twilight 5K
The event is a twilight 5K run held on Thursday evening, June 18, 2026, at The Citadel, 171 Moultrie Street, Charleston, SC 29409. The course is USATF certified and begins and finishes on the track at Willson Field on The Citadel campus.
The route includes a lap around campus, passage through Summerall Gate, one lap around Hampton Park, another passage through Summerall Gate, and a final lap on campus ending on the track. Water stops are available throughout the course and near the finish. Restrooms are located near the track.
Parking is available near the track on The Citadel campus. Day-of race registration and packet pick-up are available on the track; day-of registration is listed at $30 without a T-shirt. An offered entry option for the 5K without a T-shirt is shown at $20. Results will be posted on the organizer's site breakawayracing as computations are completed.
