The Brotherhood for the Fallen 1/2 Mile Fun Run, 5K & 10K takes place on July 11, 2026 in Smithtown, New York. The half-mile Fun Run is non-competitive and free; participants receive a T-shirt after the run while supplies last. Course, amenities and awards
The 5K is relatively flat except for a short 50 m downhill and 50 m uphill after the one-mile point when crossing Creek Road. The 10K uses the 5K course with an additional loop; the 10K loop is hilly between miles 3 and 4. All 5K and 10K finishers receive a medal. The event includes an opening ceremony with the national anthem, a DJ and announcer, free finish line photos, post-race refreshments, vendors, raffles, and an awards ceremony.
