Course, amenities and awards
The 5K course is described as relatively flat except for a 50 meter downhill and 50 meter uphill after one mile when crossing Creek Road. The 10K follows the 5K course with an added 5K loop at the 2-mile point; that loop is hilly between miles 3 and 4. All finishers receive medals and free finish-line photos. Registered participants three weeks before the race receive personalized bibs and guaranteed t-shirts by June 20. Post-race amenities include refreshments, vendors, a DJ and an awards ceremony. Cash prizes are offered for top three male and female overall finishers and for top three first responder finishers; age-group medals and team prizes are also listed.
