Brotherhood for the Fallen 1/2 Mile Fun Run, 5K and 10K
This event is a community running event held at the Suffolk County Police Department 4th Precinct in Smithtown, NY. It offers multiple distances and on-course support for participants.

The 10K follows the 5K course with an additional loop added at about the two mile point. The 10K loop includes hilly terrain between miles three and four. Water stations are provided at mile two and between miles four and five.
Event amenities include an opening ceremony featuring the national anthem, a guaranteed event T shirt by June 20, placement of the names of Suffolk County Police Officers along the route near the finish, a DJ and announcer, post race refreshments, giveaways, vendors, raffles and a silent auction at packet pickup and on race day. Family friendly activities listed for the fun run include mascots, a balloon artist, and a photo booth. All 5K and 10K finishers receive a medal; fun run finishers receive a goody bag and T shirt while supplies last. Personalized bibs are available for those who register three weeks in advance.
Awards include cash prizes for top overall finishers and top first responders, age group medals, a fastest team prize requiring three members, and recognitions for fundraising and team spirit. Proceeds benefit the Brotherhood for the Fallen, a nonprofit that supports families of fallen law enforcement officers. Live results and same day finish line photos are provided.
