44th Annual Bridge-Buster 5K Run

The 44th Annual Bridge-Buster 5K Run is a footrace event sponsored by the Fort Pierce Sunrise Kiwanis Club. It takes place in Fort Pierce, Florida, on Saturday, January 9, 2027. The event is described as the oldest footrace in St. Lucie County.

The event includes two activities:

5K Run
5K Walk

The start and finish location is the Fort Pierce River Walk Center at 600 N. Indian River Drive. The course involves running out and back over the South Bridge. Water bottles and snacks are provided to participants.

Registration is available online or by mail. The standard entry fee is $35 if received by November 30, 2026, and $40 after that date. A student fee (for participants aged 19 and under) is $25 until November 30, 2026, and $30 thereafter. All entry fees are non-refundable.
