About the race
The Turkey Trot at Tradition is the ninth annual community 5K held in Tradition Town Hall, Port St. Lucie, Florida. The event is presented by Turkey Trot Tradition, Inc., a non-profit 501(c)(3), and donates its proceeds to local charities. The 5K course is USATF certified, certification code FL21039JK.
Timing is provided by chip timing through Southern Timing, LLC, with individual result pages that include pace breakdowns, photos, and a short video of each runner crossing the start and finish. Live results are available on Southern Timing's results page.
A pre-race packet pick-up is held the day before the race in Tradition Square on Wednesday, November 25 from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. Race day packet pick-up and on-site registration open at 6:30 am for those who cannot attend the pre-race pick-up. Organizers expect about 3,500 participants.
The event is family friendly. Strollers are permitted on the course; children in strollers do not need separate registration but may be registered to receive event apparel and a finisher medal. Dogs are not allowed on the race course but may be present in pre- and post-race areas. The event is non-refundable. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
