Turkey Trot at Tradition : 9th Annual
Turkey Trot at Tradition is a community 5K event held in Tradition Town Hall, Port St. Lucie, Florida. The event is presented by Turkey Trot Tradition, Inc., a non-profit 501(c)(3), and proceeds are donated to local charities.
The 5K course is USATF certified, certification code FL21039JK. The race uses chip timing provided by Southern Timing, LLC; each participant receives an individual results page with pace breakdown, results, photos, and a 20 second video of crossing the start/finish. A pre-race packet pick-up is scheduled the day before the event in Tradition Square; race day packet pick-up is also available for those who cannot attend the pre-race pickup. Organizers expect about 3,500 participants.
Event policies noted by the organizer: strollers are allowed on the course and children in strollers do not need to be registered to participate, though they can be registered to receive a shirt and finisher medal. Dogs are not permitted on the race course but may be present in pre-race and post-race areas. The event is non-refundable.
