Brevard Autism Coalition 5K Run/Walk for Autism Awareness
The Autism Coalition of Brevard presents the 18th annual 5K Run/Walk for Autism Awareness, also listed as a Flutie 5K for Autism. The event is scheduled for February 20, 2027 at the David R Schechter Community Center, 1089 S Patrick Drive, Satellite Beach, FL 32937.
The program includes an in-person 5K run, walk, or roll, a virtual 5K option, and a Run For The Kids Challenge. Accommodations are available for participants using a wheelchair or handcycle and for duo teams. A free kids run takes place after the 5K.
Race amenities include event shirts (shirt availability and sizes are not guaranteed for late registrations), post-race refreshments, and an awards ceremony held immediately following the race. Early packet pickup is scheduled for February 19 at Running Zone, 3696 N. Wickham Rd, Melbourne, FL.
Awards are presented for Top 3 overall male and female, Top Masters (40+) male and female, Top 3 male and female in each age group (9 and under; 10-14; 15-19; 20-24; 25-29; 30-34; 35-39; 40-44; 45-49; 50-54; 55-59; 60-64; 65-69; 70-74; 75-79; 80-89; 90+), as well as honors for the fastest team (minimum of four people) and the largest team.
