Ron Jon Cocoa Beach Half Marathon and 10K

The Ron Jon Cocoa Beach event on November 15, 2026 is the 12th annual running of the half marathon and 10K along Cocoa Beach and A1A. The course begins near Patrick Space Force Base Hangars Beach and finishes at Lori Wilson Park on I Dream of Jeannie Lane. The route follows A1A, passes through Shepard Park, and includes a 2.9 mile stretch on low tide hard-packed sand where participants may see fishing boats, cruise ships, porpoises, and diving birds before returning to A1A for the finish.

Time limits are enforced: a three hour limit for half marathon entrants and a two hour limit for 10K entrants. Walkers are not allowed in the half marathon due to permit and reopening requirements for the highway.

Amenities listed for entrants include branded running caps and drawstring backpacks, a disco themed Jeannie Bottle finisher medal for both distances, live music along the course, discount coupons to Ron Jon Surf Shop, and beer and food at the finish. Tech shirts are available for purchase. Medical support and massages are provided at the finish area, and volunteers assist with race operations and logistics.
