Wave of Hope 2 Miler
The Wave of Hope 2 Miler is an inaugural running and walking event held at the Satellite Beach Dog Park in Satellite Beach, Florida. Participants navigate a 2 Mile course, with options available for both an in-person race and a virtual participation format.
The event provides several amenities for registered participants. Each runner receives a race t-shirt, although sizes are guaranteed only for those who register by October 29. Following the completion of the course, the organizers provide post-race refreshments for all attendees.
An awards ceremony takes place after the physical race concludes. Recognition is given to the top three overall male and female finishers, as well as the top male and female masters runners aged 40 and older. Additionally, the event recognizes the top three male and female finishers across various age categories, ranging from age 9 and under up to age 80 and over.
For convenience, early packet pickup is available the day prior to the race at a location in Melbourne. On the day of the event, registration and packet pickup transition to the Satellite Beach venue before the start of the race.
