The XMiles Bolton Half Marathon & 10k takes place on 1 March 2026 in Bolton, with race headquarters at Queen’s Park on Chorley New Road. The event is organised by Epic Events. Registration is managed through Results Base and race timing is provided by Epic Events.

Course, entries and race information
Both courses start and finish at Queen’s Park and include a route into Bolton town centre that follows much of the Ironman run course. The route passes Bolton Town Hall and Le Mans Crescent. The half marathon is three laps of the course; the 10k is one and a half laps. The half and 10k courses are UKA licensed and officially measured. Half marathon runners must reach the turn back into Queen’s Park from Park Road on the final lap at about 10.75 miles to allow roads to re-open as scheduled.
Minimum ages are 17 for the half marathon and 15 for the 10k. Entry prices listed are UKA affiliated and non-affiliated rates: half marathon £37/£39 and 10k £30/£32. Entries close when the event is full or on the Friday before race day. Entry fees include a custom finisher’s medal, feed stations on the route, electronic timing, drinks at the finish, and event photographs available for free download.
