Run Heaton Park 5k, 10k and Half Marathon
This event stages timed races at Heaton Park in Manchester, offering multiple distances on tarmac park paths. The course is described as undulating and tough and runs within the park grounds near the Grade 1 listed neoclassical house.

Entries include a themed finisher medal, free race photos, chip-timed results, post-race goodies and a bag drop. Finish-line photos are provided for all finishers and results contribute to national rankings.
Logistics are organised on site with an event village, baggage storage in a secure marquee, portaloos at the start/finish and refreshments at the finish. Parking is available on nearby pay-and-display areas; the park is also served by Metrolink Park and Ride options and multiple bus routes. Route information lists an on-course water point for some distances and water is available at the finish.
Race packs are posted to earlier entrants and later entrants collect at registration on the day. Buggy runners and wheelchair athletes are welcome; dogs are not permitted to run and must be kept on a lead if present in the event village.
