Arncliffe Gala
The Arncliffe Gala fell race is organised by the British Open Fell Runners Association and takes place on 8 August 2026 at Arncliffe Village Green in North Yorkshire (BD23 5QD). The event includes a short fell course that counts as a BOFRA championship counter and an accompanying road race.
From the village green the fell route follows a track to the foot of the hillside, then a steep climb to a summit and cairn. The descent is divided by a run along a sloping hillside before returning along the track to finish on the village green. A race map and profile are not available.
The race may be cancelled if heavy rain or storm conditions waterlog the route; cancellations are subject to conditions set by Natural England and the race organiser will make the decision on the day.
