BOFRA - Arncliffe Gala

The Arncliffe Gala, part of the British Open Fell Runners Association (BOFRA) Championship, takes place in Arncliffe Village Green, North Yorkshire. The main fell race covers 1.6 miles with a challenging 400 feet (120 meters) climb. Starting from the village green, the course ascends steeply to a summit cairn, followed by a descent interrupted by a sloping hillside run before returning to the finish on the green.

The event features various age categories from under 9 to seniors, fostering a family-friendly atmosphere. Additionally, a 4-mile road race is held on the same day.
