Skipton Santa Fun Run 2026
The Great Skipton Santa Fun Run is a charity run and walk taking place in Skipton, North Yorkshire on Sunday 29 November 2026. The event is organised by the Rotary Clubs of Skipton and Skipton Craven with support from Skipton Town Council and uses Skipton High Street as Race HQ. The run serves as a precursor to the town’s Christmas lights switch on.
The event offers two routes:
- 5 km course around Skipton through Aireville Park and Skipton Woods.
- 3 km walkers and wheelchair friendly circuit of Aireville Park.
Beneficiaries include Sue Ryder Manorlands, local Skipton charities and Rotary charities, alongside funds raised for many runners’ own chosen charities. Individuals aged 6 years and over may take part. Organisers encourage families and community groups to enter teams and raise sponsorship.
Course information: multi-terrain, undulating profile, single lap. Entry is limited to 2500 places. Published entry fees are Adult £22.00 and Child £10.00; on-the-day entry is available for an additional £3.00 if places remain. Facilities listed at Race HQ include changing and baggage storage; there are no water stations, distance markers, toilets or showers noted.
