Skipton Santa Fun Run 2026
The Skipton Santa Fun Run is a charity run and walk in Skipton, North Yorkshire, organised by the Rotary Clubs of Skipton and Skipton Craven with support from Skipton Town Council. It takes place on Sunday 29 November 2026 as a precursor to the town's Christmas lights switch on later that day. Main beneficiaries include Sue Ryder Manorlands, local Skipton charities and Rotary charities, while many participants may raise funds for their own chosen charities.
The event offers two course options:
- 5 km - route around Skipton including Aireville Park and Skipton Woods.
- 3 km - walkers and wheelchair friendly circuit of Aireville Park.
The course is multi-terrain and described as undulating, completed in a single lap. The event is suitable for individuals aged 6 years and over; organisers encourage families and community groups to enter teams to raise sponsorship money. Race headquarters is on Skipton High Street. Entry is limited to 2500 places; at the time of listing there were 2323 places remaining. Entry fees are listed as £22 for adults and £10 for children, with on-the-day entry available for an additional £3 if the event has not sold out.
Facilities at race headquarters include changing facilities and baggage storage. There is no water provision, no distance markers, no toilets and no showers. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
