Event Overview
The Heatwave Half Marathon in Orlando is a multi-distance running event held during the summer season. The event features several race lengths to accommodate different participants, including a half marathon, a relay option, and shorter road races. All participants who complete their respective distances receive a finisher medal and a designer shirt, provided they register by the specified shirt guarantee deadline.
Participants in the 5K, 10K, and Half Marathon benefit from chip-timing with live results and awards. A team-based Half Marathon Relay is also available, where each member registers individually to form a team of any size. For younger runners, the event offers a Kids Dash for children aged 10 and under, which is untimed and includes a mini bib.
