Turkey Trails Louisville
The Turkey Trails event takes place in Louisville, Kentucky, during the autumn season. This Thanksgiving-themed event offers a variety of distances suitable for a wide range of participants, from young children to long-distance runners. The event provides chip-timing for the majority of the races, with live results and awards available for the competitive divisions.
Participants can choose from several distance options:
- Half Marathon (13.1 miles)
- 10K (6.2 miles)

- 1 Mile (untimed)
- Kids Dash (50m, for children 10 and under)
- Virtual Race
Those registered for the Half Marathon, 10K, or 5K receive a custom bib, a designer shirt, and a finisher medal. The 1 Mile event is an untimed option that also includes a shirt and medal. For the Kids Dash, children age 10 and under receive a youth-sized shirt and a specifically crafted medal, though a free participation option without swag is also available.
The event organizers provide free photos to participants. At the conclusion of the race, food and treats are provided at the finish line. There is a specific registration category for volunteers who wish to assist with the event setup and packet pickup before participating in a race distance of their choice.
