Louisville Marathon
The Louisville Marathon takes place in Louisville, KY on November 1, 2026. The event offers three distances: a full marathon, a half marathon and a 10K. All courses are USATF certified and the marathon is a Boston qualifying course.
The route runs through the Parklands of Floyd's Fork on paved trails and finishes at Egg Lawn. All courses are entirely on paved road or trail. Course time limits are published for each distance: marathon 6 hours 30 minutes, half marathon 3 hours 30 minutes, 10K 1 hour 50 minutes.
Amenities include distance specific finisher medals for all participants, Derby pie available at the finish, and one complimentary beer for participants aged 21 and over. Event gear choices are a 50/50 cotton polyester t-shirt or an upgraded quarter zip pullover for an additional $6.99. The event is chip timed and offers live participant tracking via the RaceJoy app. Water stations provide water and sports drink and a gear check is available using clear bags. Pacers will be present on course.
The event supports Dream Factory, Inc, a wish granting organization serving children with chronic illnesses and disorders. Parking options include on site parking at Egg Lawn and off site parking with shuttle service from Papa Johns Boulevard.
