Event Overview
The Pupkin 5pice 5k is a fall themed running event held at Hogan's Fountain in Cherokee Park, Louisville. This event is part of the River City Races Run the 502 series, a collection of six races where participants can earn a series finisher medal. Participant Amenities
All registered participants receive a gender-specific, short-sleeve technical shirt and a finisher medal. Recognition and Activities
The event includes a pet parade and a costume contest with multiple categories. Awards are presented for various creative efforts, such as best pet costume, best human and pet look-a-like, and best family group. Competitive awards are also given to the top three male and female finishers overall, as well as the top three in age groups ranging from 9 and under to 80 and over.
Charity and Fundraising
The event partners with Friends of Metro Animal Services (FOMAS) Louisville. Participants who reach a specific fundraising threshold for the charity are eligible for a registration fee refund.
