Candy Cane Course - Lee's Summit takes place on December 20, 2025, at Longview Beach, 11101 Raytown Rd, Kansas City, MO 64134. The event group includes the following distances and options:
- 1 Mile
- 5K
- 12K
- Kids Dash (ages 10 and under)
- Virtual Race
- Volunteer then Run
Chip timing with live results is provided for timed races. Free photos and refreshments are available at the finish area. Course maps are available for the 5K and 12K and an interactive map is provided; the course is subject to change due to permits or restrictions.
Registration, logistics and awards
Registration fees are listed from $22 to $44. Youth pricing for the 5K and 12K sets registration at $22 for ages 12 and under. The 5K and 12K registrations include a custom bib, designer shirt, and finisher medal. The 1 Mile and Kids Dash are untimed; the Kids Dash registration includes a mini bib, youth-sized shirt, and a children’s medal. Virtual registrations include a digital bib, event shirt, finisher medal, and packet shipping; packets for virtual entries ship the Wednesday after the race.
Age group awards apply to the timed 5K and 12K with male and female overall and masters (40+) awards, plus top-three awards in age groups from 10 & under through 80+. Kid’s Dash, 1 Mile, and Virtual events are untimed and do not qualify for age group awards.
