Logistics, awards and race items
Packet pickup is scheduled for Friday, March 13 from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm at The Running Well store, 200 E 135th St, Kansas City, MO. Leftover packets will be taken to the race site for pickup beginning at 7:00 am on race day. Participants in the 5K receive a finishers medal and a pint glass; short sleeve event shirts are available for purchase during registration.
Awards will be given to top overall male and female, top masters male and female, and the top three male and female finishers in each age group: 14 and under; 15-19; 20-24; 25-29; 30-34; 35-39; 40-44; 45-49; 50-54; 55-59; 60-64; 65-69; 70-74; 75-79; and 80 and over.
Charity partner
The event lists Lucky 13 Rescue as its charity partner. Donations of supplies such as potty pads, puppy food, puppy toys, small collars, chew toys, paper towels, cleaning wipes and small tarps are requested for packet pickup or race morning.
