Logistics and amenities
Location is 320 Armour Rd., North Kansas City, MO 64116. Packet pickup is scheduled March 13 (5:00-7:00 p.m., location TBD) and March 14 (6:00-7:45 a.m.) at the event address. Parking at the venue is described as very limited; a shuttle lot is provided at 3920 N. Oak Trafficway, Kansas City, MO 64116, with buses running every 10 minutes from 6:30 to 12:30. All participants receive a custom finisher medal (5K: 4 inch; 1 Mile: 3 inch), a soft unisex tri-blend shirt, and free race photos. A complimentary craft beer from a local brewery will be offered on the rooftop. Course maps are available via MapMyRun.
Purpose and awards
Proceeds support Life Unlimited, an organization that provides services and opportunities for adults with developmental disabilities. Life Unlimited serves over 1,000 individuals across 12 counties. Awards include top overall male and female custom plaques and age-group plaques in standard age brackets.
