Event overview
The St Patrick's 5K takes place on Saturday, March 14, 2026, at Park Place in Leawood, Kansas (11549 Ash Street, Leawood, KS 66211). The event is the sixth annual running of this race and includes a costume contest. The race is chip-timed and offers awards to top overall and top masters finishers, plus the top three male and female finishers in each age group. Age groups run from 14 and under up to 80 and over.

Participants in the 5K receive a custom finisher medal and a pint glass. A short sleeve event shirt is available for purchase during registration for $7.
Logistics and extras
Packet pickup is scheduled for Friday, March 13 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at The Running Well store, 200 E 135th St, Kansas City, MO. Leftover packets will be taken to the race site for pickup beginning at 7:00 AM on race day. A course map is available on MapMyRun.
Current listed entry fees are $28 for the 5K, $42 for the Virtual 5K, and $12 for the Kids Fun Run. The 5K entry price increases after January 11, 2026. Virtual 5K registration is noted to close on March 12, 2026 and had limited spots remaining. The Kids Fun Run price increases after March 12, 2026.
