Event overview
The St Patrick's 5K is scheduled for Saturday, March 14, 2026, in Martin City, Kansas City, MO (200 East 135th Street, 64145). The race is the sixth annual running of this event and includes the following distances:

The in-person 5K will be chip-timed. A costume contest is part of the event. Participants receive a custom finishers medal and may purchase a custom event shirt.
Logistics, awards and charity
Packet pickup is scheduled the day before the race at The Running Well store at 200 E 135th Street; leftover packets will be available at the race site on race morning. Awards will be given to the top overall male and female finishers, the top masters male and female finishers, and the top three male and female finishers in these age groups: 14 and under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, and 80 and over.
The event lists Lucky 13 Rescue as its charity partner. Items accepted to benefit the organization include potty pads, puppy food, puppy toys, small collars, chew toys, paper towels, cleaning wipes, and small tarps. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
