Blue Ridge Freedom 5K - July 4, 2026
The Blue Ridge Freedom 5K is a July 4th celebration run held in downtown Blue Ridge, Georgia. The event includes a standard 5K and a Push Assist 5K. The start and finish are located at Blue Ridge Sip and Play, 342 E Main St, Blue Ridge, GA 30513.
Online registration is available through July 4 at 7:15 a.m. and there is no walk-up cash registration. Packet pickup is scheduled for July 3 from 2:00 to 5:30 p.m. at Angry Hops Brewery, 341 East Main Street, and race day pickup is available July 4 at Blue Ridge Sip and Play. Bib pickup on July 3 is highly recommended.
Race services and participant amenities noted by the organizer include a doggie water station at Sip and Play, sales of mimosas and bloody Marys after the race, and Angry Hops Brewing offering a complimentary beer sample to participants who show their bib during the holiday week.
Awards are given for 1st through 3rd overall male and female, masters male and female, and in five-year age groups. A most spirited runner recognition will be given for creative red, white and blue outfits. Walkers are welcome, and strollers and dogs may start from the back of the pack.
