2026 Twisted Tomato McCaysville Bigfoot Boogie 5K
The Bigfoot Boogie 5K takes place on Saturday, November 14, 2026, with the McCaysville Visitor Center listed as the primary event location. The course covers 3.1 miles and crosses the Georgia Tennessee state line twice between McCaysville and Copperhill. The route runs alongside the Toccoa River and passes through two downtown areas. The start and finish are at different locations and timing is based on gun to chip in accordance with USATF Rule 245.
The event is part of the Riverwalk Run Series, a three event seasonal 5K series that also includes the Trout Trot and Walk the Line. A challenge item is awarded to participants who complete all three races.

Awards are given to overall female and male finishers and to age groups from 0–9 through 80 plus. All finishers receive a medal. Shirt and bib pickup is listed for Saturday at the McCaysville Visitor Center.
